Nic and I have decided that since our life together has really started now that he is out of the military (woo hoo!) that it might be nice to document from here on out with this blog.
He officially signed out of the military on September 2, 2009 after being active for 3 years and 18 weeks. We are D-O-N-E!!!!! Praise God! We have known nothing but the military for this time, so it will be an interesting ride to actually begin our life together. We are ready for whatever lies ahead of us.
Thank you to our family and friends for supporting us through the lowest of lows and our highest of highs. Thank you to those who had no idea who my husband was, but prayed for him while he was in Iraq on deployment. Your prayers are what brought him home. Thank you!
So here is to the start of our life together...finally!!

- I am a 26-year old choir director who has the best kids in the world! I am married to the man of my dreams who has just recently finished his active term with the military...so we are finding out what "married life" is like! Together, we have two fun-loving and beautiful chihuahuas: Tina and Gunner who are pretty much our children! We love life and are so appreciative of what God has done to bring us closer together and closer to Him.
